‘Make America Great Again’ Listed on College’s ‘white supremacy’ Pyramid

San Diego City College hosted a white supremacist seminar in early October, distributing flyers claiming that cultural appropriation, “racist mascots,” and “Make America Great Again” are instances of white supremacy.

The event, “Confronting White Supremacy through the Arts” was hosted by co-directors of the World Cultures program at SDCC, professors Michelle Chan and Maria-Jose Zeledon-Perez.

“Come join us in confronting White Supremacy through students’ performances,” read a promotional flyer for the event, photographed by Campus Reform. “Prior to the performances, guest speakers will set the stage and contextualize what white supremacy is, its areas of activity, and how rampant it is in our society, curriculum, mindsets, and media.”

Event attendees received multiple worksheets, supposedly visualizing white supremacy.

One pyramid ranked white supremacy on a scale of “Overt White Supremacy (Socially Unacceptable)” to “Covert White Supremacy (Socially Acceptable).” Items on the former side of the pyramid included the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, and the n-word.

But “covert white supremacy,” according to SDCC, includes “Make America Great Again,” cultural appropriation, Columbus Day celebration, and “racist mascots.”

Another white supremacy pyramid classified “Euro-centric curriculum” and “claiming reverse racism” as “veiled racism” and “funding schools locally” as “discrimination.”

SDCC sophomore Daimeon Rodriguez attended the event and suggested to Campus Reform that he was worried about being threatened.

“I had my MAGA hat on campus and had to hide it in worry of being threatened or targeted with speech or allegations again by another student,” Rodriguez said. “I attended the end of the event to see that they had multiple students performing acts such as rapping, poems, singing that were directed towards the current administration and people who either support or follow the current president/administration. Some of the topics included some of the misinformation about people like me (Trump supporters).”

SDCC also distributed a white supremacy wheel. It broke down the origins of white supremacy on a global scale, tying the concept to fields ranging from economics and education to sex and religion.

SDCC did not return a request for comment in time for publication.

The Left is completely triggered when they see the MAGA Hat and even more triggered when it a black person wearing a MAGA Hat.

  1. I am 66 years old. I am (mostly) white. I have spent most of my life in the deep south. I always thought I had a normal American upbringing. According to some of these young people I have been deceived all my life, I guess. I didnt know until now I am really a hateful monster racist, a diabolical white supreamist and I have been trained to cause all sorts of problems with the efforts to make this planet a better place to live. I suppose this has been going on for many generations. That might be partly true for my generation. I’ve heard it called the “lost generation” because of Viet Nam, hippies, civil rights, riots of the 60’s and so on. But then again we made it thru the cold war in 1 piece, we made it to the moon, we came up with pretty good adding machines and called them computers. Well, what about the generation before mine, the one that gave my generation an education and taught us values? You should not call them horrible names because the whole world calls them ” The Greatest Generation ” and if not for them we would be clicking boot heals and going around with our right arm stuck out in front of us.
The more i think àbout it the more I think these kids missed something in their education. Missed something in their home and family education, certainly. I guess the real question here is do we try to reeducate these misguided kids and their teachers or do we just shake our heads and keep an eye on them, so we can keep them from hurting themselves or somebody? Nah, let’s just whip the crap out of them like they should have gotten when they were 8 year old little shits who wouldn’t pick up their socks and give them a yellow vest and put their highly educated asses on the highway cleanup crew, maybe they can do that without constant supervision. But I doubt it.

  2. I’ve been a Democrat all my life, but I have many blue collar, white and black friends who wear MAGA hats and support Trump. They’re not racist! They’re not white supremacists. They are good people who, like me, are coming out of poverty back into the middle class again. They really are excited that someone cares about them again. These are people of all colors, genders and ethnitic backgrounds. Just because I disagree with them on some issues of politics, doesn’t make them bad or even necessarily wrong. Stop creating these bogus racist flow charts that mean nothing. People who come up with these fake social conspiracies are trying to voter shame good people and it doesn’t work. These far left people are the most intolerant and full of hate individuals there are. And another thing, if this keeps up we (Democrats…. and I am one) will get slaughtered again in 2020, and I don’t want it to happen again.
