Though he died in a Manhattan jail cell three months ago, convicted sex offender billionaire Jeffrey Epstein‘s death still has a majority of the internet wondering how it’s remotely possible that such high-profile criminal conveniently ended up as a corpse while he was supposed to be under heavy guard.
And conspiracy theories offered as explanations for Epstein’s death are numerous, including many of which are linked to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was one of Epstein’s good buddies and frequent travel partners.
According to the Washington Examiner, Hillary Clinton made an appearance on the set of liberal comedian Trevor Noah’s Thursday edition of his show, where he and Clinton mocked right-wing conspiracies surrounding Epstein’s death.
As Noah cycled through his typical, anti-conservative shtick, he posed a question to Clinton that elicited a bizarre — and possibly downright scary — response.
“I have to ask you a question that has been plaguing me for a while, how did you kill Jeffrey Epstein?” Noah asked.
And what did Clinton do?
She giggled. She actually laughed about it.
Because sure, Noah was being a comedian, but given the number of people who’ve died who many have said could have landed the Clintons in hot legal water, well, a laugh as a response to that particular question was a tad unsettling, to say the least.
“Because you’re not in power, but you have all the power. I really need to understand how you do what you do, because you seem to be behind everything nefarious, and yet you do not use it to become president,” Noah said as a follow-up to his original question.
Doubling down on his attacks on the right, Noah asked Clinton how she felt about being a type of “boogeyman of the right.” Clinton’s answer was not only dismissive of all the conspiracies surrounding her and her family, but she seemed genuinely confused as to why conservatives don’t like her.
“Because the things they say, and now, of course, it’s on steroids with being online, are so ridiculous, beyond any imagination that I could have. And yet they are so persistent in putting forth these crazy ideas and theories. Honestly, I don’t know what I ever did to get them so upset,” Clinton responded.
I know you, as the reader, can’t see it through a screen, but my eyes are rolling so hard right now that it actually hurts.
She doesn’t know why conservatives are upset with her? For starters, let’s talk about Benghazi. Am I right?
But I digress.
It’s quite apparent that Noah — and Clinton — haven’t the slightest clue that millions of Americans truly believe that Clinton is beyond nefarious and has capability and resources to make any and all potential problems facing her family go away, just like any other person of power and wealth with her deep political connections.
Earlier this week, Dr. Michael Baden — a frequent Fox News contributor — sparked a wave of headlines after announcing that in his professional opinion as a doctor and as a former New York City medical examiner, that Epstein’s death was not caused by suicide, rather, it was most likely strangulation, given the extent of his injuries.
And while Clinton might laugh off an intended joke about her potential involvement in the matter, it would probably serve her well to come to the realization that millions of Americans aren’t laughing with her.
